So this is a great example on when Social Media works. I twittered about ppl that follows more than 10.000 people and how impossible it must be to get any contact with such a person. But I got a response on that from Lucritia M Pruitt (with more than 18.000 followers and that follows over 10.000 herself). And it was a response that appeared to be a proof of how wrong I was:
A fast check on Lucretias profile showed that she is engaged in an upcoming conference next week. It is a conference for Type-A parents. Behind the conference is the social network Typeaparent.com. And Lucretia also connected me with one of the people behind the conference and the original Type-A Mom: Kelby Carr (@typeamom) 27 000 + followers on Twitter is impressing!
I am delighted to have got a connection to this great and inspiring network. We in Netparentz have been talking about making a similar conference in Sweden. We know a lot of great people that share our interest in how to be a digital parent and how we will get more parents present online.
